A community amenity for residents of Crystal Valley, The Pinnacle Recreation Center’s makeover is finished and ready for inspection! Inside and out, aesthetic and functional improvements have heightened the appeal of this upscale activity and fitness facility in Castle Rock.

You’ll spot the first improvement as you turn onto Fox Haven Drive from Loop Road: new landscaping and lighting at the signage monument, pointing the way to The Pinnacle entrance. Circling the roundabout, you’ll be able make out new entry light fixtures in the lobby: beautiful amber bowl-pendant chandeliers. The pendants are suspended below massive timber trusses and a slatted wood ceiling with copper insets, a combination both warm and inviting.
The Pinnacle Community Room Facelift
The Community Room sports new windows, a new coat of trendy grey-green paint, more timber trusses, and wood accents with textured porcelain wall tile surrounding the doors and a new fireplace.
The new fireplace is a focal point of the Community Room, and soon will share the wall space with a big screen T.V. – perfect for your next Academy Awards or Super Bowl party. The new windows on the east side of the Community Room face the pool, which recently welcomed its first swimmers and floaters. Exercise Enhancements
In the Exercise Room, new mirrors and televisions encourage longer workouts, and in the locker rooms, new tile and paint have transformed the space.
Outside by the pool, there’s an enormous rectangular fire pit for pool parties after the sun goes down. And multiple cabanas offer plenty of shade options during the day.
Coming Soon
As part of Crystal Valley’s ongoing commitment to residents of our master-planned community, the grounds surrounding the exterior of The Pinnacle Recreation Center are about to undergo a renovation as well. New features, directly accessible from the clubhouse and pool area, will include:
- An enclosed 1.5-acre dog park
- Crusher fines trails, providing a firm solid surface for walking
- An expanded parking lot, to accommodate more residents
- An outdoor, terraced grass amphitheater and activity stage
- Rock retaining walls
- Extensive landscaping
- A separate children’s play area
- Bench seating
