“Scavenge The Rock” is back! What better way to learn about Castle Rock’s history than to explore Downtown Castle Rock with a scavenger hunt? Pick up the clue sheets at the Castle Rock Museum starting May 1. Go around town to complete the tasks on the sheet. Return the sheet to the Castle Rock Museum to receive a gift and you can be entered into a drawing to win tickets to the Summer Concert Series, golf certificates and much more. You have the whole month of May to complete the hunt. Bring your family, friends, co-workers or do it on your own. It’s a fun and easy way to learn some history, get to know Castle Rock better and win some prizes. Prize drawing will be on May 31 at the Castle Rock Museum at 3 p.m.

SPRING UP THE CREEK 2025
Join us in this annual area-wide effort to improve and enhance our local creeks by collecting and removing trash and debris along trails. Volunteers will be provided gloves and bags. Snacks and water will be available. All ages are welcome, and this is a perfect opportunity to fulfill community service hours while keeping Castle Rock beautiful and our watershed clean. When registering, please pick the trailhead you (and your group) would like to clean. CLEAR leaders will meet you there with bags and gloves.

ANNUAL TROLLEY TOUR OF CASTLE ROCK
This year we will highlighting the 60th Anniversary of the 1965 Flood. We will visit places that were affected by the flood. Meet at the Castle Rock Museum to board the trolley for the free tours. Tour times are at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and are approximately 45 minutes long. Reservations required as seating is limited.

HISTORY OF AMACHE
