This Halloween weekend, there are events and festivities, day and night trick-or-treating parties and plenty of haunted houses to explore in Castle Rock and beyond! It’s time to get your Halloween on, all over town!

BOO AFTER DARK
Boo After Dark, is Boo at the Zoo at night. With 20 trick or treat stations, creepy crawly animal demonstrations and exciting family-friendly entertainment.

A HAUNTED HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!
The undead await you at The Asylum and 13th Floor. GetScared.com rates both venues as some of the scariest haunted attractions in town. The Asylum is just a few miles east of downtown, the top haunted attraction in Denver. Billed as “a horrifying head trip for all who dare to enter,” the Asylum grounds are said to be the final resting place for 200 former residents and doctors of the Ridgegate Asylum. The 13th Floor is setting up scare tactics north of LoDo, and should give you something to squeal about!

THE COOLEST CORN MAZE
Get lost at this year’s Botanic Gardens at Chatfield’s eight-acre Corn Maze, one of the most popular corn mazes in the country. Wind your way through acres of corn in search of Farmer Green’s lost animals, view the design from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges that overlook the giant Corn Maze, and watch as youngsters find their way through a special free mini-maze designed just for them. Hayrides, a giant jump pillow and pony rides will be available for an additional cost. Come hungry enough to sample food vendors’ offerings: fresh lemonade, funnel cakes, hot dogs and kettle corn.

Do you enjoy being scared out of your wits? Then ride your favorite rides after dark and enjoy the creepy creatures lurking around every corner. Plus, three all-new, multi-sensory haunted attractions: No Vacancy, Big Top Freaks and Séance. Make your way along dark walkways, navigate a carnival graveyard overrun by flesh-hungry clowns and try to avoid the ghoulish guests of a nightmare inn!

CLOSING:THE STINKY CHEESE MAN
Halloween weekend is the last chance to see characters from a variety of children’s classic storybook fables, hilariously depicted in The Stinky Cheese Man musical. These fractured fairy tales give stories like Chicken Little and The Gingerbread Man a complete makeover. Toe-tapping music and witty narration accompany inarticulate giants, sassy barnyard animals, colossal cow pies and enough stinky cheese to please everyone!

GATSBY GLAM GALA
Halloween weekend is a chance to dress like your favorite character from the Roaring 20s, from flappers in beaded dresses and t-strap heels, to dapper gents in suspenders and newsboy hats. A few costume, make-up and hairdo ideas from Pinterest s-costume/">here. The gala, a glitzy evening of dancing, cocktails and treats, will benefit Douglas County students in need.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY WITH WAYNE BRADY
Help celebrate the Parker Arts Culture and Events Center five-year anniversary with comedian, singer, and actor Wayne Brady.

The folks at Castle Rock Fire and Rescue have planned a terrifying night at the annual Castle of Terror for anyone brave enough to enter. The scream-worthy haunted house benefits police and Fire Explorer programs.

BOO AT THE BARN
