Meet in front of the museum after dark and be ready to hear stories of disturbing events that happened at the Cantril School, The Old Stone Church, The B&B Café, Hangman’s Gulch and more. You’ll never look at Castle Rock the same way again—or walk alone on its streets at night!

FAIRY-TALE CONCERT IN THE MANSION
Take a break from all the spooky vibes, and settle in for a magical classical concert in the most elegant of settings! The Ivy Street Ensemble—made up of flute, violin, and viola—provide a delightful evening of chamber music at the Highlands Ranch Mansion.

HAUNTED FRIGHT ACRES
If you are ready to be scared out of your senses, then Colorado’s largest outdoor haunted attraction is waiting for you! Three uniquely terrifying experiences are housed at Fright Acres on Flat Acres Farm—see if you can survive all three.
A creepy mausoleum is perched on the edge of Reaper’s Hollow, causing you to feel the urge to run away. Someone or something is lurking behind the closed door. Will you be brave enough to enter, only to have to navigate a half-mile trek through a dark corn field? Or maybe you’d rather stay safe and sound in the homey, family-owned Dead End Motel. The staff there will be EXTREMELY attentive—maybe too much so. You may find yourself fleeing into Goblins’ Grove, the old woods behind the motel. Don’t pay attention to those gruesome tales about people entering and coming out possessed—or never returning at all…

AFTER DARK CORN MAZE AND SCREAM ZONE
If the idea of maneuvering through a corn maze at night by the light of a glow stick sounds plenty spooky enough, the After Dark Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms is for you! If you want an all-out haunted corn maze experience, complete with all kinds of creatures lurking around every corner, walk a little further down the road to the Stalkers’ Haunted Corn Maze. The full Dead Zone Scream Park package also includes admission to the After Dark Corn Maze (if you need to calm your nerves) as well as Fear Flicks—screenings of outdoor horror movies. HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL
What’s the best way to spend a chilly October afternoon? At a matinee screening of a classic Hollywood film, of course! And since it’s the season to get spooky, this matinee features the incomparable Master of all things thriller—Vincent Price! House on a Haunted Hill is the 1959 movie about an eccentric wealthy couple (Vincent Price and Carol Ohmart) who invite five people to a “haunted house” party in their mansion. Anyone who stays the night will win ten thousand dollars. Of course, there’s a catch—and it involves ghosts, murderers, and other terrors!

A dark and creepy forest will ignite the imagination any night of the year, but this weekend, the Haunted Forest turns those nightmarish imaginings into reality! With someone (or something) lurking behind every tree and bush, do you dare to enter the gates of the Haunted Forest?

HYPROV – IMPROV UNDER HYPNOSIS!
This brilliant combination of art forms brings together hypnosis and improvisation, creating a new form altogether: Hyprov, or improv under the influence of hypnosis! Guaranteed to be jaw-dropping as well as hilarious, the show features improv comedy legend Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) and hypnotist Asad Mecci—two masters of their crafts.
