Activities for Littles This Weekend!
As online school is winding down, activities for the younger set (both online and in-person) are ramping up. From live-streaming play dates to opportunities to learn about animals online to the phased re-opening of some South Suburban Parks and Recreation activities, you can keep your little ones engaged. Check out fun things to do for older kids and adults, too!

Kids ages 5 and older who love Legos will enjoy getting together online with others to build fun Lego projects together! Play Well TEKnologies use the power of play and LEGO-inspired engineering to teach kids about STEM.

VIRTUAL MAGIC SHOW
This hilarious and amazing magic show by a featured magician from the hit TV show Penn & Teller Fool Us has gone virtual! The whole family will enjoy this up-close look at

HEAR A STORY
Douglas County Libraries continue to be the community meeting place you’ve always trusted, except right now that place is online. The popular weekday Storytime series for pre-school kids continues, helping youngsters get a head start on the skills they need to be ready to read. Kids will do the same five simple activities this series has always emphasized—reading, talking, writing, singing and playing—only online!

SOUTH SUBURBAN’S PHASED OPENING
Some in-person recreational events are now open, including Licensed Day Camps, Batting Cages, Tennis Courts, Miniature Golf, Golf Courses, and outdoor Pickleball courts—all by appointment. FINAL VIRTUAL MIXOLOGY CLASS
The Highlands Ranch Community Association’s Virtual Mixology course is winding down with its last live class tonight! If you missed any of the previous classes or just want a refresher, videos of prior lessons are available on their website.
This week’s class is all about gin! Peach Street Distillers will show you how to make a Last Word (Fizz) and La Jenny using Jackelope and Jenny Pear Gin. Use the shopping list in advance so you can participate in the Zoom class as it’s going on. Pre-registration is required in order to get the Zoom link.
