Historian and storyteller Ed Weising will entertain guests with historic and humorous hoaxes perpetrated on Coloradoans in the 19th century. In this entertaining presentation, you will learn about how gullible droves lost their life’s savings during Colorado’s early years by believing crazy scams and scam artists. Weising details cons of the 19th century including the great “Diamond Hoax” and “McGinty,” the petrified man.

This hilarious troupe returns with a theatrical SPOOF of the golden age of radio – a time when men were men, women had moxie, and adventure filled the air waves!
