When kids start to explore the mysteries of outer space, there are no limitations to the excitement they’ll experience! This hands-on crafty discovery, #Mindblown Space Exploration, is a favorite for all age groups (though younger kids may need some adult assistance).

KIDS NIGHT OUT
Savvy parents know when there’s a Kids Night Out there can be a Parents Night Out, too! Your kids will have a blast learning how to make all the best carnival food—then eating it, of course. FAMILY SURVIVAL CHALLENGE
If your family’s favorite TV show is Naked and Afraid, you’ll be eager to try your hand at the kind of survival skills necessary to make it in the Backcountry—but no one has to get naked. Test out your skills and maybe learn some new ones, all while working together as a team! You’ll try orienteering, building survival shelters, starting a fire with flint and steel, wild foraging, and water collection. This workshop is for ages 7 and older, and kids need to participate together with their adults.

CAMPFIRE HIKE
The woods in winter are a magical place—bring the entire family out for a hike that culminates in a campfire, roasted marshmallows, and s’mores! TREE-LIGHTING CONCERT
The first big tree-lighting event of the season is at the Outlets at Castle Rock! They’ve brought in a tree that’s taller than the Big Blue Bear at the Denver Convention Center, a whopping 55 feet tall! There will be lots of sparkling lights, ornaments, and bows to show off this magnificent tree. You’re welcome to set up your own camping chairs in designated spaces, and there will be hot chocolate for sale. The guest star of the evening is Santa, who will do the honors of lighting the tree!

WARREN MILLER PREMIERE
For Warren Miller fans, the start of the winter season is always marked by a screening of his latest film.
