Crowfoot Valley Coffee is a local boutique roaster and retailer and has been in business for over 17 years. Billed online as a “chill hangout,” it features coffee and espresso drinks as well as cafe bites and a variety of craft beers. On the brew side, the Crowbar features local musicians and rotates upper-end craft beers on nine taps with a bevy of refrigerated bottles, too.

The Barn was built in 1905 and is a collection of antique and specialty shops. From The Dented Lampshade to Bohemian Rags-N-Bags and The Plum Creek Mermaid, the structure houses lots of vintage, imported, upcycled, hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind items. Strolling the shops is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

This 112-year-old store has been family-owned and operated since 1994 and is the oldest business still operating in downtown Castle Rock. Rich in Colorado heritage, Bennington Mercantile is more than a feed and livestock supply store. It carries Ariat and Carhartt clothes, Double H, Sorel and Corral boots and shoes, gifts and toy collectibles like Breyer Horses and John Deere Toy tractors, Western-inspired home décor, as well as Colorado-made salsas, sauces, spices and sausage!

Run by local alpaca breeders, Everything Alpaca carries fashions imported from mills in Peru, the largest manufacturers of alpaca fiber. Some of the items in the store have been hand-crafted by the owners, and their selection of fine yarns are at least 50 percent alpaca.
