Take a FREE guided wilderness tour in the backcountry with fellow adventurous hikers! Afterwards, roll the afternoon hike into a Thursday happy hour, with Beer for Bucks at Living the Dream. The warm sunshine on your face, the sound of the wind rushing through the trees overhead, and the soft earthy feel of the trail under your boots. Not only are these experiences enjoyable to have, but they’re good for you, too. The hike is free, but registration is required.

SERIOUS COMEDY
Matthew Broussard is not your standard go-with-the flow kind of comedian. He’s not in the least an Average Joe kind of funny guy. No, he’s a disgraced financial analyst forced into stand-up comedy, and he brings to his act all the humor you would expect from someone with a degree in computational mathematics—and then some.
His comedy is smart, self-deprecating, and weirdly educational. He’s performed on the Tonight Show, Conan, Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle, and the Comedy Central Half Hour. You might remember him from his appearances in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The League, The Mindy Project, and alongside Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish in the film Here Today. He is the creator of the webcomic and puzzle app, Monday Punday.

SCAVENGE THE ROCK
Go on a family adventure and learn all about the history of Castle Rock at the same time! This self-paced scavenger hunt starts with a clue sheet you pick up at the Castle Rock Museum. Then you have until June 4 to complete as many of the tasks on the sheet as you can to earn points!
You’ll discover the stories that have helped shape the town over the years, and the kids will learn fun facts to impress their friends. When you return your completed sheet in June, you’ll receive a gift and be entered into a drawing to win prizes, including gift certificates to Red Hawk Golf Course, season passes for the summer concert series, and gift cards to many local businesses!

Become a part of the volunteer group that keeps the trails at Ridgeline Open Space in tip-top condition! Ridgeline Wranglers meets once a month to help maintain and improve local trails. Taking part in this event gives you a warm feeling of giving back to your community—and you’ll make some new friends in the process!
Be sure to register in advance as a waiver is required for all participants. Gloves, tools and water are provided. Youth under the age of 14 require an adult over 21 to accompany them.

It’s been a long year of no live jazz music, so this performance by one of the biggest stars of R&B, contemporary, and straight-ahead jazz is a welcome comeback! Gerald Albright has a reputation as a “musician’s musician” and has been nominated for several contemporary jazz Grammy Awards.
