NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY
Nationally renowned nature photographer John Fielder, will speak at the event, Celebrating Colorado’s National Parks and Monuments, and present his collection of photos of Colorado’s federal lands. Fielder has been capturing the natural beauty of Colorado landscapes for 40 years. He is a publisher, teacher and environmentalist who first became smitten with Colorado at the age of 14. Fielder, an award-winning photographer, is dedicated to promoting the protection of Colorado’s open space and wildlands.

PLANTING PARTY
Come Celebrate Earth Day by helping improve wetland areas at the new Philip S. Miller Park. Willow branches will be harvested at Memmen Ridge Open Space and then replanted along a wet drainage-way located on the south side of the Miller Activity Complex (MAC). Signed participation waivers are required. Snacks and beverages will be provided. This is a perfect activity for scout groups working on their conservation badges! WWI GRAND OPENING EXHIBIT

ZONTA TRIVIA NIGHT

The Buffalo Bill Experience is chock full of all the wagon train driving, Army scouting, Indian fighting, and Pony Express riding adventures. Billy Bob “Bud” Thornton, Teddy Andreadis and J.D. Andrew are The Boxmasters, an American roots rock band of seasoned musicians with a rich and rhythmic sound and backstory.
