You can sign up for a FREE Wellness Walk, participate in a Backcountry Half-Marathon, or go on a rugged Backcountry Hike! Get out there and enjoy the mild fall weather while it lasts!
This year, Trunk-or-Treat is more popular than ever as the best way for the kiddos to dress up and get free candy! There are a few opportunities for Trunk-or-Treat in the area, as well as outdoor and online ways to celebrate Halloween. There are even some socially-distanced haunting experiences to check out!
For a real Halloween experience, head to the Backcountry Wilderness Area and the Haunted Forest, or other outdoor scary attractions like those at Fright Acres in Parker. Not-so-scary outings include the Creepy Crawlies Festival in Castle Rock or the Ghost Town Hoedown at the Douglas County Fairgrounds!
