Nathan is also dodging the advances of his long-time girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, who wants to get married. Meanwhile, fellow gambler Sky Masterson takes up a bet with Nathan that he can win over straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown—and he ends up falling in love with her. The result is Reece’s Roundup and all funds from the race go into the Reece Rubino Fund. These funds help supplement all the things their health insurance will not cover and are a great blessing to this family.
