Wreaths are an easy go-to, starting with the basic ring of greenery or grapevines. Take a look at some of these Pinterest photos and videos for inspiration, then head to Hobby Lobby for a Lamb’s Ear, pine, magnolia leaves, boxwood, Eucalyptus or mini cedar wreath and grab your glue gun!

Wreaths are a common holiday door décor, but so are swags and garland. Burlap ribbon has a decidedly rustic feel but looks quite gussied up when glitter is applied! Inexpensive and Stunning Alternatives
If you want to veer off the traditional greenery or twig and branch wreath path, check out the wreath of bows from Design Improvised. Blogger Haeley took red, burgundy, tan, white and green bows of various sizes and glued them to a straw wreath (14 inches). Her photo tutorial is easy to follow and the entire effect is stunningly inexpensive. The wreath cost her just about $15.

Blogger Kelly at Studio DIY took shiny pink, turquoise, silver and gold ornaments, (plus a couple of pink flamingos!) and created a non-traditional bauble wreath. Some of the ornaments are odd-shaped, and we think there are a few colored lightbulbs peeking out from in between the balls! Kate at Censational Style is a renovator, decorator, and world-traveling designer. This wrapping paper wreath she made to hang in front of the glass doors of a (also holiday decorated) china cabinet is time consuming, but super easy to make. Kate says all you have to do is pick your paper, find a Styrofoam ring, and start rolling tubes of paper to glue to it!
Not surprisingly, DIY Network decorates more than the front door! From among the 10 front porch vignettes, we especially like the gift-box topiary and swags with skates!
